THE SISTERS IN 2020! NEW VENUES! NEW PIX! NEW TUNES!
February 2020
The Scorch Sisters are starting 2020 with a bunch of new stuff on the horizon!
We have some new pix by the fabulous photographer Moses Sparks who did an amazing job - thanks, Moses!
We also started playing at Roscoe's Jazz Lounge in Long Beach. We had a wonderful time there and we will be doing a residency there starting in March, so watch this space for dates. Roscoe's is a great place for us - the audience is enthusiastic and fun, the sound (courtesy of Alex) is spot-on, Roscoe and the excellent staff are friendly and helpful and the food next door at Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles is to die for!
In February we will be playing at the legendary Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center in Leimert Park courtesy of Michael Gliona.
And...we're writing some new Scorch Sisters tunes! So come out and check out our latest jams.

THE SISTERS ARE COMING TO THE WRITE-OFF ROOM!
July 2019
The Scorch Sisters are back! After a hiatus, we are moving forward once again and we're starting off with one of our very favorite events, our dear friend and legendary blues DJ at KSUN 88.5 Ann the Raven's Annual Birthday Blues Party! And what's more, we're doing it at the coolest new venue in town, The Write-Off Room!
Ann's Birthday Bash is always packed full of the best in the blues, and this one is no exception. There are 7 outstanding blues bands/artists, including the phenomenal Arthur Adams Band, and seating is limited, so be sure to get there early to get a good seat!
The show starts at 7pm and we go on at 9:30pm.

ASCENCIA A SUCCESS - MADCATFISH THIS WEEKEND!
September 2015
The Scorch Sisters were ablaze at the Ascencia Urban Blues Festival. Literally! With triple-digit temperatures, we still had an amazing show and saw a bunch of our favorite bands, musicians and blues fans. It was fantastic to see so many people show up even with the tremendous heat for this very worthy cause - supporting Ascencia, a non-profit organization which provides housing and services to the homeless. Many thanks to the wonderful staff (especially Wendy Dutman of Limelight Media!) who made everything as smooth as possible and took great care of us!
We got a lot of new pix and video - check it out!
Sharon and Andrea killed it, of course! Next up is MADCatfish this Sunday, September 6 at the Santa Anita Racetrack - hope to see you there! We start early again, same time - 11:00am, and we will be followed by the one and only Barbara Morrison at 12:30pm!
FESTIVAL TIME!
July 2015
We're back!
We started Festival Season with the Santa Clarita Blues Festival, and next up is the Ascencia Urban Blues Festival on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
We are so pleased to announce that we have 2 phenomenal musicians joining us at the Ascencia Blues Fest - bassist Sharon Ray and drummer/vocalist Andrea Byrd!
LABOR DAY WEEKEND BLUES with MADCatfish
September 2015
Next up for the Sisters? We're off to the races! Santa Anita Race Track, that is!
Labor Day Weekend will find us at the 1st Annual MADCatfish Blues Festival in Arcadia, CA at the historic Santa Anita Race Track - Sunday, September 6, 2015 (showtime TBA). The one and only SoCal legend, our friend Barbara Morrison will be headlining, and some other of our favorite blues artists such as Margauret Love and the Delgado Brothers will be there as well as Saturday Night Live star Garrett Morris!
There will be blues and comedy all weekend, so don't miss out on this amazing event!
